Audition Requirements 
We can't wait to see your unique interpretations and hear your incredible voices. Please read the following requirements carefully to ensure you are fully prepared for your audition.
Audition Preparation Instructions
1. **Think of a Fairy Tale:**
   - Choose a classic or modern fairy tale that resonates with you. Consider stories from the Brothers Grimm, Hans Christian Andersen, Disney adaptations, or other popular tales.
2. **Choose a Character:**
   - Select a character from your chosen fairy tale. Think about characters who have distinct personalities or unique traits that can be expressed through song.
3. **Consider Character Traits:**
   - Reflect on the character’s personality, motivations, and story arc. Are they brave, cunning, kind, mischievous, or magical? Understanding these traits will help you select a suitable song.
4. **Choose a Song:**
   - Pick a song that fits your chosen character’s traits and showcases your vocal range and abilities. You can choose from any genre—pop, jazz, rap, rock, classical, musical theatre—from any era.

   "The Little Mermaid"
Character: Ariel
Character Traits:Curious, adventurous, yearning for a different life
  -Song: "Roar" by Katy Perry
    - This pop song reflects Ariel's adventurous spirit and desire to break free, while showcasing your vocal power.
"Cinderella"
  - Character: Cinderella
Character Traits: Hopeful, kind, dreamer
  Song: "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri
    - This contemporary ballad highlights Cinderella’s hopeful nature and gentle character.
"Peter Pan"
Character: Peter Pan
Character Traits: Playful, fearless, free-spirited
Song: "Happy" by Pharrell Williams
    - This upbeat song captures Peter Pan’s playful and carefree spirit, providing a fun performance opportunity.

 "Beauty and the Beast"
Character: Belle
Character Traits: Intelligent, independent, compassionate
Song: "Fight Song" by Rachel Platten
    - This empowering anthem demonstrates Belle’s independent and determined nature, with a chance to show vocal intensity.
Additional Notes:
Song Length: Prepare a 1-2 minute excerpt of your chosen song. Ensure the excerpt includes a section that highlights your vocal strengths.
Accompaniment: You may bring a backing track or we can play for you.
 Characterization: Be ready to perform the song as your character. Use gestures, facial expressions, and body language to bring your chosen character to life.
 Dress: Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. You may dress in a way that suggests your character, but full costumes are not required.
